1. General requirements for steel sheet pile construction
    (1) The location of the steel sheet piles should meet the design requirements to facilitate the foundation construction of the drainage pipe gallery, that is, there is room for formwork support and formwork removal outside the most prominent edge of the foundation.
   (2) The plane layout shape of the steel sheet pile for the foundation pit protection wall should be as straight and tidy as possible, and irregular corners should be avoided, so as to facilitate the utilization and support setting of the standard steel sheet pile. The surrounding dimensions shall be as close as possible to the sheet pile modulus.
   ⑶ During the entire foundation construction period, during excavation, lifting, tying steel bars, pouring concrete, and other construction operations, it is strictly forbidden to collide with the support, to dismantle the support arbitrarily, to prohibit arbitrary cutting and electric welding on the support, and to place heavy objects on the support.

2. The order of steel sheet pile construction
   Set the pile sinking positioning line according to the construction drawing and elevation → control the setting of the pile sinking guide groove according to the positioning line → repair and level the walking road of the construction machinery → sink the surrounding protection piles → send the surrounding protection piles to the specified elevation → dig soil → concrete construction → Fill soil → pull out the steel sheet pile.

  3. Inspection, hoisting, and stacking of steel sheet piles
⑴Inspection of steel sheet pile
After the steel sheet piles are transported to the construction site, they need to be arranged. Remove the debris in the lock (such as welding slag, waste filling, etc.), and repair the defective parts.
①Lock inspection method: Use a steel sheet pile of the same type and specification about 2 meters long as a standard, and pass all steel sheet piles of the same type as the lock. The inspection uses a hoist to pull the standard steel sheet pile flat car, and checks through the lock from the pile head to the pile tail. Correct the twisted lock and "dead bend" detected.
    ② To ensure that the locks on both sides of each sheet pile are parallel. At the same time, try to make the width of the steel sheet piles within the same width specification. Width inspection is required, the method is: to divide each sheet pile into upper, middle, and lower parts and measure its width with a steel ruler, so that the width of each sheet pile is within the same size, and the difference between adjacent numbers of each sheet should be less than 1. . Encryption measurement can be carried out for the local deformation seen by the naked eye. The steel sheet piles that exceed the deviation should be used as much as possible.
   ③For other inspections of steel sheet piles, comprehensive inspections shall be carried out for the incompleteness, remnants, untidiness, rust, curl, etc. of the pile body, and corresponding measures shall be taken to ensure normal use.
    ④Lock lubrication and anti-seepage measures, for the steel sheet piles that pass the inspection, in order to ensure that the steel sheet piles can be inserted and pulled out smoothly during the construction process, and to increase the anti-seepage performance of the steel sheet piles during use. Each sheet pile lock must be evenly coated with mixed oil, and its volume ratio is butter: dry bentonite: dry saw foam = 5:5:3

  ⑵Steel sheet pile lifting
Loading and unloading steel sheet piles should adopt two-point hoisting. When lifting, the number of steel sheet piles should not be too much each time, and care should be taken to protect the lock from damage. Lifting methods include bundled lifting and single lifting. Bundled hoisting is usually tied with steel cables, while single hoisting usually uses a special spreader.

  ⑶ Stacking of steel sheet piles
   The place where the steel sheet piles are stacked should be selected on a flat and firm site that will not undergo large subsidence deformation due to pressure, and it should be easy to transport to the piling construction site. When stacking, pay attention to:
   ① The order, position, direction, and plane layout of stacking should take into account the convenience of future construction;
   ②The steel sheet piles should be stacked separately according to the model, specification, and length, and signage instructions should be set up at the stacking place;
   ③Steel sheet piles should be stacked in layers, and the number of stacked piles in each layer generally does not exceed 5. Sleepers should be placed between each layer, and the distance between the sleepers is generally 3-4 meters. The total height should not exceed 2 meters.
