Plastic Sheet Piles - Versatility and Ease of Installation

Apr 14,2023

Sheet piles are a cost-effective solution for many projects. They are available in a variety of lengths, section sizes, shapes and grades. Their versatility and reusable nature makes them ideal for temporary structures that require a quick and efficient installation.
Steel sheet piles can be used for a wide range of applications, from water control to retaining walls. They offer a long-term, durable solution that’s easy to install and maintain, and are designed to resist corrosion.

Vinyl sheet piles, made from modified polyvinyl chloride (PVC), are a newer alternative to steel sheet piling. They are a popular choice for fluid containment, cut-off and containment barriers due to their chemical resistance, seepage resistance, and the fact that they can be installed and removed without destructing the environment.
These structures are often incorporated into marinas and shipyards to protect the shoreline from marine critters such as oysters, crabs, and other fish. They are also a preferred option for the construction of seawalls and bulkheads, as they’re resistant to weathering and UV damage, making them an ideal solution for coastal or marine environments.
Sheet piles can be driven to a desired depth with a range of techniques depending on the ground conditions. Short lengths can be inserted by hand, while longer lengths can be driven with a piling hammer and a Piling Cap.
